Dan Merkel

Husband & Dad, Owner, Master Electrician

I grew up in the Milwaukee area, I live in Pewaukee, I’m a husband and father, and I’m happy to be raising my own kids in the same community I grew up in. I love the people, the celebration of different cultures, our traditions, and the Midwestern hospitality that brings us all together here in southeastern Wisconsin.

I should’ve known I would become an electrician when I was in school. As a teenager, bored with the classroom setting at school, I rifled through my dad’s garage and built a device that would trip circuit breakers at the flick of a switch, and to this day my teachers and classmates never figured out who shut down the whole computer lab.

When I started doing electrical work, I quickly realized how happy my work could make people. Working directly for homeowners, I discovered what I really love: Solving problems, creating solutions, and most importantly, seeing the smiling faces of my clients when they see my work.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me cooking in the kitchen, building or tinkering with something in the garage, trying some fun new restaurant in Milwaukee with my foodie family, or filling up the ponds at Ironwood with golf balls.
