Terms of Service
Last updated: June 22, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully. They govern your use of the website at spark-shark.com and the electrical services provided by Spark Shark LLC (“Spark Shark,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website or engaging us for services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
You represent that you are at least 18 years old. Your use of our website is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and use your information.
Our Services
Spark Shark is a licensed, bonded, and insured electrical contractor serving the greater Milwaukee and Lake Country area of southeastern Wisconsin (Master Electrician #1145676, Electrical Contractor #1454877). We provide residential and commercial electrical services, including repairs and upgrades, preventive maintenance, installation, remodeling, EV charging, and related work, as service calls or construction projects.
Quotes and Estimates
Quotes and estimates are based on the information available at the time and on a reasonable understanding of the work involved. Pricing may need to be adjusted if conditions discovered during the work differ from what was expected, if the scope changes, or if you request additional work. Any change to the agreed scope or price will be documented through a written change order or an updated agreement. The specific terms of any particular job, including scope, price, payment schedule, and warranty, are governed by the written quote or agreement you approve.
Payment Terms
We accept payment by credit or debit card, check, cash, and approved financing. Listed prices reflect payment by credit or debit card; a discount may apply for payment by cash, check, or Venmo. Financing is available on approved credit for all or part of a balance through our financing partner, subject to that partner’s terms.
A deposit may be required before work begins, and construction projects may be billed in stages (for example, a deposit, a payment at a defined milestone, and a final payment). Payment is due as set out in your approved agreement or invoice. Balances not paid when due may be subject to late charges as permitted by law. Online card payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe, and are subject to Stripe’s terms and privacy policy.
Deposits, Cancellations, and Refunds
A deposit may be required to schedule your project and reserve materials, and your deposit is applied toward the total price of your work.
If you need to cancel, please notify us as early as possible. If you cancel before work has begun, we will refund your deposit, less any costs we have already incurred on your behalf, such as special-order materials or restocking charges. Once work has begun, amounts you have paid cover the labor performed and the materials supplied up to that point, and any remaining balance for completed work remains due.
Completed electrical work is not returnable, but it is backed by our workmanship warranty described below. If you are not satisfied with our work, please contact us and we will work with you to make it right. Refunds, where due, are issued to the original payment method.
Warranties
We stand behind our work. The workmanship warranty that applies to your project is stated in your written agreement. Manufacturer warranties on equipment and materials pass through to you according to their terms. Except as expressly provided in your written agreement, we make no other warranties on our services, express or implied.
Permits and Code Compliance
We perform work in accordance with applicable electrical codes and obtain permits where required. Inspections by the governing municipality or utility may be part of the work.
Intellectual Property
The website and its original content, features, and functionality, including text, graphics, logos, and the Spark Shark name and marks, are and will remain the exclusive property of Spark Shark LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not use our content or marks without our prior written consent.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services, and we encourage you to review their terms and policies.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will Spark Shark be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of our website. This section does not limit our obligations or your remedies under the written agreement for your project, and nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Website Disclaimer
Our website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties relating to the website itself, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. This website disclaimer does not affect the workmanship warranty that applies to the electrical services we perform under your written agreement.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or our services will be handled in the appropriate courts located in Wisconsin.
Dispute Resolution
If you have a concern or dispute about our website or services, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish its objective as far as possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above and post the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
